Give Thanks Hinged Display Tray

Here today with a really fun project, courtesy of the uber-talented paper crafter, Brenda Rose!  She put together these GORGEOUS craft kits using CTMH's Sangria paper pack last month, and I was blessed enough to snag one (before they sold out!) and make it up for my aunt and uncle for Christmas this year.

Here are a few up-close shots of the details!  The rolled flowers were very fun to make--I used Alene's Tacky glue to hold them together.

All the words, stickers, flowers, hearts, leaves, etc were part of the kit and most are complements for the Sangria paper pack in the CTMH catalog.

This is the poem that Brenda enclosed in the kit--I just LOVE it!  Feel free to click on the image below to read it in greater detail...

I am very pleased with how it turned out, and I trust it will be a treasured keepsake for many, many years to come!

Lollydoodle Display Tray

Hi, back again with some crafty inspiration for you!  I had a super fun time putting this display tray together for my daughter's bedroom.  It adds some fun whimsy to her bedroom decor AND makes her feel special since it incorporates some recent pictures of her!  I simply cut 3x4 pieces of CTMH's Lollydoodle patterned paper to fit each cubby, and then added matching accents from their matching stickers and gem assortment.  The quotes along the right side are simply from the zipstrip on top of one of the papers. I double matted the 4x6 print in the top left corner with slate and cotton candy cardstock (all included in the paper pack!).
My favorite detail is this paper rosette I made using a strip of the pink chevron patterned paper, a Martha Stewart border punch, and a circle punch (pear cardstock).
Supplies used (CTMH unless otherwise stated): Lollydoodle pattered paper pack, stickease, and gem assortment, burlap ribbon,7 gypsies printer's tray (Michaels), Marvy 1" circle punch, Martha Stewart dotted scalloped border punch

For more ideas of printer display trays, check out these previous posts here and here.  I love these things--they come together quickly and are SO visually interesting for your home.  They also make great gifts! Thanks for stopping by today--hope you have a creative one!

Avonlea Display Tray

I had such an enjoyable time crafting this beautiful display tray using the Avonlea papers from CTMH. I used a club kit from Lisa Stenz (check her post out here) but deviated a bit to make it my own (for example, I wasn't a fan of the satin bow). I love the look of the black and white photos--it really makes the display very classy, in my opinion.

Here is a closer look at the focal picture of the five of us as a family:

Just some upclose details of the various textures of the different cubbies--I love the pinwheel, pearls, glitter gems, monogram, burlap, ribbon rosettes...I could go on and on!  I did decide to cut down a picture and place it in the stamped ornate frame--I love that little personalized touch!

Hope you can make some time to make a family-inspired home decor project soon!  It is a lot of fun to make and truly a treasure to keep!
