Hello Badge Button Cards

Saw these adorable little hello badge buttons on clearance at Target--American Crafts makes them and they are already stacked atop scalloped circles and pennant flags--so cute!!  I simply paired these embellishments with matching cardstock--Island Indigo blue and Pool Party aqua (SU), Pear green, blush pink and a bit of Pemberley yellow patterned paper (CTMH) (brown houndstooth patterned paper--source unknown)...and wallah!  Adorable "hello" cards in about 10 minutes!
This pink and yellow card (above) uses a diecut card base from CTMH.
Added just a bit of chevron stripe from SU's Tea for Two patterned paper collection for this one (above).
Other supplies used: scallop edged scissors.

Hello to you my friend and thanks for
stopping by!

Snowman Button Cards

Been thinking of some creative ways to send out Christmas thank you cards recently--I love to have plenty of those on hand!

For these cards, I used the little snowman from SU's Button Buddies stamp set with a few clear 3/4" buttons and some red baker's twine.

The snowmen are stamped in black and then sentiments are from CTMH's Say it in Style stamp set and stamped in red

A little bit of glitz glitter gel finishes off the tophats for a bit of extra sparkle!  So easy--even my 5 year old did these with me!

Button Tree Card

This was a fun card to make and really helps you weed through your button stash!

It was directly inspired by this card made by Aaron.  I used the Trees and Things stamp set from CTMH and stamped the tree trunk with Cocoa ink.  Then I used various buttons from my stash to cover the tree top, adhereing each one with glue dots.  I used one of my favorite paper packs, Stella (CTMH) for the card base and colored strips and mounted my image on Cocoa cardstock.  The sentiment comes from Petite Pairs (SU) and the card itself is a kraft card from CTMH--love these beauties!  You'll have to try this out--it is a fun way to stamp a card.

Button Buddies cards

I made a few little 3x3 enclosure/gift cards using the Button Buddies stamp set (SU). These are pretty simple--I made my own 3x3 white card bases (just had to buy 3x3 envelopes from SU or CTMH) and stamped the images on white cardstock, then backed them using coordinating cardstock with the ink I used. I sewed the cherry buttons on, while I just used a glue dot for the pig's nose. Either way looks cute, I think. The sentiments come from Petite Pairs (SU) on the cherry card, and Say it in Style (CTMH) on the pig card. Have a great Tuesday :)

Kraft Flower Button Card

I am trying out some Stampin' Up products this week. I really love the concept of pairing stamped images with buttons, so this stamp set Button Buddies (SU) was a great choice for me and lots of fun to use. I especially love the flower vase image because I've collected quite a few flower-shaped buttons, and they look adorable paired with this image. I just love with this paper pack from their sale-a-bration collection, Everyday Enchantment--it uses several of their "in colors" like lucky limeade, calypso coral, and pool party--love this color combination. I mostly stamped in pool party (aqua) and mounted my stamped image on pool party cardstock. The sentiment is from CTMH card chatter sympathy stamp set (one of my favorites) and I am also using a CTMH kraft card base. Thanks for stopping by today :)
