Embossing for the BOSS

Back today with a few more cards, intended to be given to the men in your life!  I used strong, bold primary colors like black and red and my new love, the Cuttlebug machine, to dry emboss and then sand the white-core cardstock using the polka dot, chevron, and damask embossing folders (CTMH).  I stamped the images using Versafine black ink--the above card uses the sentiment from the Cloud Nine stamp set (CTMH, retired) and promotional kit die-cuts, while the card below uses the February SOTM Wild Thing stamp set images and sentiment (CTMH, retired).
Additional supplies used (all CTMH unless otherwise noted): 4" doily (Michaels), Ruby chevron ribbon, red baker's twine, black baker's twine, red glitter button, ruby ink (used to ink up the raised polka dots), assorted white-core cardstock, fine-gauge sanding block, glue dots, Tombow adhesive

Thanks for stopping by, my friend!  Hope you have a creative one!
