Lantern Tree Card
Here's one last card featuring the Trees and Things stamp set from CTMH. As you can see, it is a fun and versitle set to play with. I used scraps from the Stella paper pack, colonial white and cocoa colored cardstock, and a kraft die cut card from CTMH. I used Cocoa, Olive, Pear, and Sunset inks and then used Petite Pairs (SU) for the little sentiment. Thanks for stopping by--hope you have a creative day:)

Teacher Appreciation Week
Thought you might enjoy seeing the cards I made for the kids' teachers for this week. As you may or may not know, it is Teacher Appreciation Week and the kids are bringing in a little "something" for their teachers each day this week. Yesterday, the kids brought these cards along with a rose from our front yard to each of their teachers. Hope they liked it!
I used an apple stamp from Papertrey Ink and a sentiment from Fiskars. The ink colors used was Riding Hood Red (SU) and Lucky Limeade (SU). The green and red cardstock and patterned papers used were from my stash. Thanks for stopping by today! BTW, cannot seem to upload this picture the right orientation--sorry!

Button Tree Card
This was a fun card to make and really helps you weed through your button stash!
It was directly inspired by this card made by Aaron. I used the Trees and Things stamp set from CTMH and stamped the tree trunk with Cocoa ink. Then I used various buttons from my stash to cover the tree top, adhereing each one with glue dots. I used one of my favorite paper packs, Stella (CTMH) for the card base and colored strips and mounted my image on Cocoa cardstock. The sentiment comes from Petite Pairs (SU) and the card itself is a kraft card from CTMH--love these beauties! You'll have to try this out--it is a fun way to stamp a card.

Glitter Tree
Today I'd like to share another card made with the Trees and Things stamp set from CTMH. I stamped the tree and sentiment in Cocoa ink and then used Sorbet ink in first and second generation for the flowers in the tree. You might need to click on the picture to enlarge it, but if you look closely, you can see that I used glitz glitter gel over the flowers to give them a nice sparkle. The sentiment is from Because of You stamp set (CTMH, retired) and the inside reads "because you are in it!" Thanks for stopping by today :)
