Monochromatic thank you card

This card demonstrates how easy it is to work with ONE color scheme, especially when you stick with one company's products...in this case, CTMH. The color I chose was Juniper--I used cardstock, ink, and patterned paper (Perfect Day paper pack, retired), and used a stamp set that has sentiments that really work as focal points, Thoughtful Tidings (CTMH). After I put the card together, I used pin clips and adhesive pearls as little embellishments--super quick and easy!

Thanks for stopping by!

Teacher Gifts

Sorry it has been awhile!  The last month has been a bit hectic with the end of school, family visits, beach trips...you get the idea.  I did want to share with you some teacher gift ideas that I did last year--haven't uploaded pics from this year yet!  I LOVE this green patterned paper with the handwriting practice letters--I totally remember that as a kid!  The pattered papers were honestly from my stash, so I don't recall the maker of them, but I thought they worked well together!

For the card embellishments, I used a Martha Stewart seal punch on some old bookprint, an office clip, and a button with some red baker's twine.  Stamps used were Fiskars Thank you.

The gifts were Hershey nugget tins (PTI) stamped with PTI's Limitless Labels using Avery mailing labels to wrap the nuggets.  I then used SU curly label punch and stamp set for the tag and then tied the belly band with twill ribbon.  Inks used were SU Riding Hood Red and CTMH Olive.

These are the gift bags--I later stuffed them with red tissue paper.  I got the bags at Michaels in a large pack.  The stamps I used were PTI limitless labels (teacher and apple), Say it in Style (CTMH, For You sentiment), and Paper Source for the bracket image.  As always, you can click the picture to see it larger!

Happy Summer!
